Alison Page

About Alison

Alison Page is a descendant of the Walbanga and Wadi Wadi people of the Yuin nation. As an award-winning creative at the forefront of contemporary Australian Aboriginal design and storytelling, Ms Page champions the contemporary expression of Aboriginal identity. She was the founder of the National Aboriginal Design Agency and was a member of the expert panel for the federal government’s Constitutional Recognition of Indigenous People.
 

Alison Page is the Director of the Art Gallery of South Australia and Director of the Australian National Maritime Museum. She also holds the position as Director of the Indigenous Land Corporation, an independent authority of the Australian Government established to assist Indigenous people to acquire and manage land to achieve economic, environmental, social and cultural benefits.
