About Chris
Chris Fleming is a Professor of Economics, and Dean (Research) at Griffith Business School, Griffith University. He teaches, researches, consults and provides public policy advice on the economic determinants of wellbeing and the sustainable management of the world around us. Specific research and consulting interests include social and economic project/program evaluation, Indigenous wellbeing, tourism economics, natural resource and environmental economics, sustainable development, the economic determinants of subjective wellbeing, and the sustainable management of natural resources.
Chris's current research applies an economic lens to interdisciplinary projects with a sustainable development, climate change adaptation or conservation focus, particularly in the South Pacific.
